Xineohp of Fireball

In art class, we were supposed to think of a fantasy creature to draw. Since I have no imagination I decided to do a phoenix. But, a phoenix was imagined by someone else so I couldn't call it my own. So I did the opposite- a Xineohp. My mom said my picture looked like a mix between a phoenix and a crow. Oh well.

Li. I was supposed to do my initials but the girl sitting next to me is ML too. Therefore I decided to do my family name which is as long as my initials. 9/7/05. The sword says Godric Gryffindor on the hilt and the yellow sphere is a golden snitch. The bow, arrows, and mouse are from redwall. 8th grade

This is a creature that I believe only exists on this paper and my imagination. It is called a Wyng. The name of this individual creature however is Firetail. Every piece of artwork under this was done in 7 th grade unless otherwise stated.

My art teacher made my class sketch the great pile of random objects. I chose these objects to sketch. I hope all who see this picture will know that I worked hard to make the picture look like the actual objects, however far off I was from actually achieving that goal.

Pieces of pie are often the inspirations of many pieces of artwork but, not this piece. In this positive/negative painting the horizontal wavy lines represent ocean waves, while the vertical one was intended to resemble some sort of sea plant. There is a fish in the corner.

Pride and Courage

I entered this husky drawing in the school art show, however I was rather inexperienced in the skill of drawing dogs at the time. It did not receive any awards, but I am not disappointed.

Great Wall

I made this linoleum block print in my 3-D Design class at school. It is a tedious process to go through. First, I had to find a reference picture, draw a simple form of it, trace my design backwards on a linoleum block, then carve it out. After the block is carved, I had to put ink on it and roll it through a printing press with a piece of paper. the finished print takes two days to dry.
